The Statistical office of the European Communities (Eurostat) is calling for the provision of statistical services related to trade within the Community and between the Community and non-member countries.

The contract is divided into seven lots:

Lot 1: advanced estimators of external trade data;

Lot 2: quality control for basic statistics on external trade;

Lot 3: implementation of measurement and quality control for external trade statistics;

Lot 4: import and export prices indexes for economic statistics;

Lot 5: trade directories and impact of globalisation on external trade statistics;

Lot 6: adaptation of the extrastat system to better meet use requirements;

lot 7: re-evaluation of the burden, represented by the intrastat system, on those benefiting from the statistical information, with a view to potentially adapting the system.
