JRC calls for study on GMO detection
The European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) has announced a call for tenders for a study on the development of methods for the detection, identification and quantification of genetically modified organisms (GMOs). The study will involve collaboration for the development of methods for the detection, identification and quantification of genetically modified organisms. The main focuses of the study should be: - rapid characterisation of inserted sequences; - analysis of the stability of integrated sequences in GMOs; - approaches for the mapping of transgenic varieties.
