Radioactive study required
The European Commission's Enlargement DG has issued prior information on a call for tenders for a detailed study of the waste recovery from the vaults of the Püspöksilagy radioactive waste treatment and disposal facility in Hungary. An assessment of the technologies to be used for treating and packaging removed solid waste and an optimisation of the occupational exposure during retrieval operations should also be carried out. A maximum budget of 300,000 euro is envisaged for the contract.
