The Environment Directorate-General of the European Commission has announced a call for tender for a framework contract for scientific and technical assistance in relation to emissions from non-road mobile machinery.

The Commission is awarding a framework contract to cover:

- The provision of independent, impartial and punctual scientific and technical advice in the field of air pollution from non-road mobile machinery, particularly issues linked directly or indirectly to the further development of Directive 97/68/EC.

- Analyses concerning the scientific and technical issues related to the future amendments of Directive 97/68/EC and report to the Commission.

- Participation in international discussions, including the relevant ISO work.

- Preparation of briefings, position papers and slides for the meetings of the Commission's working group on non-road machinery (GEME).For further information, please contact:
