Chinese research calls announced
The Chinese 863 Hi-Tech program has launched its first call for research proposals under the 10th Chinese 5-year plan. It is the first call open to European partners. The six main program areas of the call are: - Information technology - Biotechnology and modern agricultural technology - New materials - Advanced manufacturing and automation technology - Energy source technology - Resource and environment technology Normally a proposal should be prepared by the Chinese consortium, together with at least two EU partners from different countries. The Commission does not provide automatic funding for the EU partners.
