The European Commission has announced a call for proposals for awareness actions under the action plan on promoting safer use of the Internet.

The action plan on promoting safer use of the Internet, part of a coherent set of policies at EU level to deal with illegal and harmful content on the Internet, is a multiannual Community programme covering the period 1999 - 2002.

In the framework of the action plan, the Commission invites proposals under action line 3.2 for projects intended to promote awareness of safer use of the Internet.

The indicative budget for the support of actions resulting from this call is 4.25 million euro.For further information, please contact:
