Wales offers new research and innovation service on CORDIS
CORDIS, the Community Research and Development Information Service, is hosting a redesigned service on innovation activities in Wales, UK. The service, developed jointly by the Wales Innovation Relay Centre and CORDIS, provides information on key regional actors, the latest developments and participation in European programmes. The service offers information on the research strategy and priorities set out in the Welsh Regional Technology Plan and other initiatives aimed at creating of a culture of innovation in Wales, which hosts a wide range of education and research organisations including centres of excellence and the Welsh Development Agency. In addition, the CORDIS service provides access to search facilities providing information on organisations which have been involved in more than 900 EU-funded projects. A list of spotlights and links provides further insights into major innovation-related initiatives in this region and offers an easy means of locating more information and contacts. The service also provides links to a wide range of local services and infrastructures More than 20 European regions are already promoting their profiles via CORDIS.
