Commission calls for study on biological status of species subject to import restrictions
The European Commission's Environment DG has announced a call for tenders for a study on species which are subject to import restrictions. The species in question are subject to import restrictions according to Article 4.6 of Regulation 338/97. The study is designed to provide information of the biological status of these species, currently around 375 taxa from 900 countries of origin.
