Partners sought for Gate2Growth network
The European Business and Innovation Centre Network (EBN) is looking for partners to participate in the Gate2Growth network. Gate2Growth is a portal bringing together entrepreneurs, investors and service providers. The initiative is supported by the Commission's Enterprise DG under the 'innovation/SMEs' (small and medium sized enterprises) programme. EBN is seeking up to 18 partners and the invitation to apply is open to all business innovation centres (BICs), Euro info centres (EICs), innovation relay centres (IRCs) and other relevant bodies who have experience with innovation financing and the support of high growth start-ups as well as expanding SMEs. The Gate2Growth contract is valued at up to 14,000 euro per partner (100 per cent financed) and the maximum duration of the contract is two to three years. The contract is renewable on a yearly basis based on performance. Tasks include the organisation of meetings, reporting back to the Commission, adaptation of online toolbox content, online service centre referral, the posting of news items, identification and referral of quality business plans and projects, event participation and an annual survey of SMEs.
