Call for proposals related to business cooperation schemes for SMEs
The European Commission has published a call for proposals related to the organisation of regional partnership events for micro, small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in EU regions bordering the candidate countries, with a focus on support services. The events should be organised with the aim of: - fostering cooperation and contacts between EU and candidate country SMEs to help them establish long term business relations, and identify market opportunities and specialisation possibilities arising from the process of enlargement of the EU; - stimulating the use and access of support services for SMEs, especially for small and micro businesses and sole proprietorships; - focusing the use and access of support services on sectors that are most likely to be affected by the process of enlargement such as labour intensive services with a limited geographical outreach, business services, manufacturing, construction, tourism, transport and communication, and wholesale and retail trade; - promoting financing, marketing and sales related support services, with a view to enabling SMEs, especially small and micro business owners and managers and sole proprietors, to take advantage of market opportunities arising from enlargement; - promoting the provision of information on the regulatory environment at local level, in particular legal environmental obligations, and identifying cooperation possibilities between EU and candidate country SMEs, principally small and micro business owners and managers and sole proprietors.For further information, please contact: Fax +32-2-296-8040 E-mail: elarg-sme@ec.europa.eu To see the full details of the call, please consult the following web address: http://europa.eu.int/comm/enlargement/borderregions/(odnośnik otworzy się w nowym oknie)
