ESF seeks EUROCORES programme coordinators
The European science foundation (ESF) is recruiting programme coordinators for EUROCORES, a scheme supported under the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6). EUROCORES is an innovative collaborative funding mechanism designed to promote quality research at European level funded by ESF member organisations. The role of a EUROCORES programme coordinator is to assist in the development of EUROCORES themes; the assessment and review process of proposals; the promotion and networking of successful proposals; and the initiation of programme science fora. Likely candidates will have experience of research in key scientific areas of EUROCORES or as a research manager in one of the participating national funding agencies or research organisations.
