The agency is looking to commission work in the following areas:
- microbiology;
- nutrition;
- radiological safety;
- methods for prioritisation of research;
- official control monitoring for toxin producing plankton;
- official control monitoring for biotoxins in live bivalve molluscs;
- provision of marine biotoxin National Reference Laboratory services for the UK;
