Nominations invited for one million dollar materials science prize
Nominations are invited for the one million US dollar Dan David Prize for achievements in materials science. The prize, equivalent to 808,000 euro, will be awarded to an individual or group of individuals who have made novel, innovative discoveries in one or more of the following areas: chemical and electrochemical materials; electronic and optical materials; biomaterials; the understanding of nanoscale phenomena and nanomaterials. The prize is international. It is endowed by the Dan David Foundation and administered by Tel Aviv University in Israel.
