Language Industries Atlas
The Language Industries Atlas, the first of its kind, describes the activities of the many organizations, both public and private, that create the infrastructure within which languages are able to develop and interact on equal terms in a multilingual Europe. The Language Industries Atlas will be of interest to a broad spectrum of language professionals, including translators, interpreters, terminologists, teachers, computational linguists, researchers and public and private organizations. The Atlas contains more than 1000 descriptions of activities which play a role in shaping the language industries, whether from a user or provider perspective. The Atlas demonstrates how solutions to the many problems faced by all manner of organizations working in multilingual Europe can be obtained.
