The Joint Research Centre has published a call for expressions of interest to tender for the manufacture of machinery and equipment needed by researchers in the JRC research programmes.

The service providers must be able to manufacture mechanical parts using welding techniques. This work may require the following:
- The use of special techniques such as vacuum brazing, electrical erosion machining with wire, working of ceramics, metallizing, etc;
- The application of quality assurance programmes;
- Short-term operations at the Ispra site.
