In connection with the framework programme for priority actions in the field of statistical information, the Statistical Office of the European Communities has published a tender relating to sectoral programmes for environmental policy.

The contract is divided into 16 lots:

- Lot 1: Preparation of the publications on environmental statistics;

- Lot 2: Development of statistics on waste;

- Lot 3: Development of SERIEE (systeme europeen de rassemblement de l'information economique sur l'environnement - European system for the collection of economic data on the environment);

- Lot 4: Development of sectoral indicators for the environment in the fields of agriculture and forestry;

- Lot 5: Material balances for selected dangerous products and substances;

- Lots 6 to 16: Environmental pressure indexes (see details in the tender specifications).
