Parliament Research Committee to adopt opinions on R&D specific programmes
On 12-14 September 1994, the European Parliament's Committee on Research, Technological Development and Energy (CRTDE) is scheduled meet to adopt opinions on the remaining specific programmes under the Fourth Framework Programme for research and technological development. The specific programmes cncerned cover the fields of: - Transport; - Environment and climate; - Nuclear safety and safeguards; - Biomedicine and health; - Thermonuclear fusion; - Diffusion and exploitation of research results; - Biotechnology. - Research activities for the Joint Research Centre (Euratom). The Committee will also hold an exchange of views on trans-European energy networks and on the establishment of a more favourable context for the development of these networks. The next Committee meeting is scheduled for 4-6 October 1994.
