Radiation protection
The European Commission, DG XII, has published the "Final report on the scientific progress achieved during the seventh multiannual research and training programme (Euratom) on radiation protection (1990-1991)". The report outlines the research work carried out under all contracts between the European Commission and research groups in the Member States in the framework of the Radiation Protection programme during 1990-1991. More than 450 scientists collaborated in the programme. The report contains the results of more than 350 projects covering the following areas: - Human exposure to radiation; - Consequences of radiation and radioactivity; - Risks and management of exposure.
