Parliament, Council and Commission joint statement on SOCRATES
The European Parliament, the Council and the Commission have issued a joint statement on the Decision establishing the Community action programme in the field of education, SOCRATES (Decision 819/95/EC). This states that two years after the launch of the programme, the European Parliament and the Council will access the results achieved. To this end the Commission will submit a report accompanied by any proposals which it considers appropriate including proposals concerning funding.
