Programme of coal research into mining engineering and product upgrading
Meeting on 29 July 1991, the Council gave its assent (Assent No 10/91) enabling the Commission to grant financial aid of ECU 48,534,100 from the levies provided for in Article 50 of the ECSC Treaty, allocated as follows: - Community programme of coal research into mining engineering and product upgrading: ECU 47,834,100; - Dissemination of information and associated costs: ECU 200,000; - Preparation of a coordinated programme adapting coke-making techniques to the requirements of environmental protection: ECU 500,000; - Supplementary programme of research into mining engineering and product upgrading: ECU 4,551,300 (subject to the availability of budgetary resources).
