PHARE - Investment promotion, export development and tourism
The European Commission, DG IA, has published a special report on PHARE activities in the investment promotion, export development and tourism sectors. The report, which is part of a series covering each of the main areas of PHARE activity, discusses PHARE's activities in the above sectors and examines strategic orientations for future action. The report describes the nature of the problems faced in PHARE's partner countries during their transition from planned to market economies. It goes on to examine actions undertaken to date, and to assess their impact on the transformation process.
