Evaluation of the LEONARDO DA VINCI programme in the field of vocational training
The European Commission, DG XXII, has published an invitation to tender for the first external evaluation of the LEONARDO DA VINCI action programme for the implementation of a European Community vocational training policy (1995-1999). The overall aims of this external evaluation are to provide information and recommendations for a possible revision of the programme in relation to management, content and financial measures, and to assess the extent to which the objectives of LEONARDO DA VINCI (Articles 1 and 3 of the Decision) have been achieved. The assessment of the programme is closely linked to: - The overall design of the programme, the coherence and synergy between its objectives and measures outlined in the Decision; - The implementation of the programme (i.e. the organizational and operational arrangements set up at Community and national level to implement the programme).
