Preliminary results of environment and climate programme call for proposals
The European Commission has issued preliminary results of the call for proposals in the specific RTD programme in the field of environment and climate, published on 15 June 1995. The call focused on Theme 3 of the programme, namely space techniques applied to environmental monitoring and research, and in particular on Area 3.1 (methodological research and pilot actions). A total of 532 participating organizations, companies and institutions from across Europe submitted proposals, of which 63% involved methodological research and 37% concerned pilot projects. The total funding requested amounted to ECU 109.85 million. The Commission will fund proposals involving 92 participants, with a total of ECU 11.82 million in support.
