Implementing the Information Society
The European Commission, DG X, has published a brochure detailing the Community's policies towards implementing the Information Society. Entitled "The Information Society", the brochure outlines the background to the development of the Information Society and the work of the Information Society Task Force (Bangemann Group) which reported in May 1994. It also reports on the ten experimental initiatives which were established following the Bangemann Group report, and the future actions planned by the Community in the field.
