Catalogue of MAST II projects
The European Commission, DG XII, has published details of all 104 projects funded under the MAST II specific RTD programme in the field of marine science and technology, part of the Third RTD Framework Programme, which ran from 1991 to 1994. The projects, many of which are not yet completed, cover the following areas: - Physical oceanography; - Biology/ecology; - Biogeochemistry; - Marine geosciences and sediment dynamics properties; - Marine technology; - Risk assessment. Projects relate to all the sea areas surrounding the European Union. The book contains a brief summary of the projects' aims, as well as contact details for the project partners.
