Greece to receive ECU 101.75 million from Cohesion Fund
The Cohesion Fund is to grant ECU 101.75 million to a series of projects in the environmental field in Greece. The assistance rate under the Cohesion Fund is 80% of the total cost of the projects. The projects to be funded involve networks to channel run-off of rainwater, water supply and biological waste-water treatment. The areas to benefit are: Patras, Volos, Chania, Sparta, Chios, Komotini, Argos, Orestia, Rethymno, Kalamata, Tripolis and Larissa.
