The European Commission, DG XVII, has published an invitation to tender for the supply of small, low-power, portable multi-channel analysers (MCAs) for high-resolution gamma spectroscopy to determine characteristics of nuclear material.

The device has to contain at least power and high-voltage supply suitable for various gamma detectors, amplifier, analogue-digital converter, memory buffer, and firmware with standard MCA functions. The unit is to be controlled via a small computer and will be battery operated. Offers are requested in view of purchase.
