The European Commission, DG XIII, has launched an open call to tender for the completion of a study on the harmonization of analogue public switched telephone networks (PSTN) terminal equipment.

The aim of the study is to carry out an in-depth analysis of all the processes involved in the development of the deliverables in the standardization of analogue terminals, and to identify the actions necessary to achieve the earliest possible harmonization of the PSTN terminal equipment market.
