EEA states to participate in ALTENER programme
Following a decision of the European Economic Area (EEA) Joint Committee, the ALTENER programme for the promotion of renewable energy sources will be open to participation from the EEA states: Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. The decision means that these countries will contribute financially to the programme and shall also participate in its management and development. Entities from these states will be able to participate in activities of the ALTENER programme, with an effective start date of 1 January 1996.
