The European Commission, DG XIII, has launched a call for expressions of interest for assistance with the technical evaluation of proposals and periodic reviews of the INFO2000 programme for stimulating the development and use of multimedia information content and the Multi-lingual Information Society (MLIS) programme. The Commission intends to draw up a list of potential candidates to undertake a number of evaluation and review tasks relating to the INFO2000 and MLIS programmes. Candidates will be chosen from this list on the basis of their skills, throughout the life of the programmes, to carry out specific tasks. The contracts to awarded will cover the following areas: - Technical assistance with evaluating proposals submitted in response to calls for proposals launched by the INFO2000 and MLIS programmes; - Technical assistance in the review of projects supported by the INFO2000 and MLIS programmes; - Technical assistance to Commission officials in the context of the review of the INFO2000 and MLIS programmes. The above-mentioned tasks concern the fields referred to in the Work Programmes of the INFO2000 and MLIS programmes.
