European Research Directory for vocational training
The European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (CEDEFOP), a European Union agency, has published the second edition of its European Research Directory outlining research on vocational training policy development and implementation in the European Union. The Directory is designed to: - Provide vocational training policy-makers and researchers with information on research activities in all the Member States; - To offer them an opportunity to publicise on a broader scale the research they themselves are undertaking; - To encourage transnational cooperation, both at institutional and Member State level. The second edition of the Directory contains details of around 500 projects, with information on the content and purpose of the research, the methods employed and the expected products. The Directory also contains details of the commissioning bodies and institutions carrying out the research and the name of persons who can be contacted for further information. As in the first edition, the Directory is limited to projects commissioned by public authorities.
