The internal market in natural gas
A Commission proposal for a Council Directive concerning common rules for the internal market in gas (COM(91) 548, submitted on 24 February 1992) aims to establish rules within the Member States for access to this market and for the criteria and procedures to be used when licensing the transmission, storage and distribution of natural gas and for the operation of the interconnected system. It is proposed that these rule be brought into force by the Member States by 31 December 1992.
