Introduction of process-integrated biocatalysts in companies
The Institute for Prospective Technological Studies (IPTS) of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre has published an invitation to tender for a study on the integration of process-integrated biocatalysts in companies. The tender concerns investigating the effects of dynamics in internal and external networks when introducing process-integrated biocatalysts in companies, by means of company internal case studies. The study should have the following objectives: - 1) Identify dynamics in company internal and external networks which influence the introduction of process-integrated biocatalysts; - 2) Draw conclusions and make suggestions from the observed dynamics for science and technology policy in the field of biotechnology; - 3) Show to what extent the conclusions and suggestions are applicable for technology policy in general or in line with other research on technology policy. Provision of these services requires thorough knowledge of conducting in-company case studies, and of biotechnology. Full technical specifications appear in the tender documents.
