The European Commission, DG XII, has published a prior information notice relating to a public service contract to be awarded for the development of the AMPERE information system.

The contract will concern the provision of computer services to the Directorate-General for Science, Research and Development (DG XII) within the context of the development of its management information system AMPERE (detailed specifications, construction, running in, bringing into production, corrective, adaptive and open-ended maintenance).

The contract will run for three to five years. The estimated contract value is ECU 500,000. Award procedures are expected to be initiated in the fourth quarter of 1997.
