KAROLUS: Exchange of national officials engaged in the implementation Community legislation
The European Commission has put forward a proposal for a European Parliament and Council Decision concerning the KAROLUS programme for the exchange, between Member States administrations, of national officials engaged in the implementation of Community legislation. The proposed Decision would extend the KAROLUS programme for a period of two years pending a proposal for a new programme following in-depth consultations. It would also open the programme up to participation by the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, the EFTA countries that are EEA members, and Cyprus.
