TACIS Contract Information 1997 - Nuclear safety programmes
The European Commission, DG IA, has published a 1997 Contract Information Brochure concerning nuclear safety programmes within the TACIS technical assistance programme for the New Independent States of the former Soviet Union and Mongolia. The brochure contains details of the contracts which will be funded within the 1997 TACIS budget. Prospective contractors may use the brochure to identify contracts of interest to them, for which they can submit expressions of interest to the Commission. As and when the contracts are put out to tender, those who have previously submitted expressions of interest will be invited to tender. The brochure contains details of a number of projects in different TACIS countries, in particular in Russia and Ukraine, as follows: - Industrial projects: . On-site assistance; . Design safety and other horizontal issues; . Programme management and reserve; - Institutional projects: . Support to regulatory authorities and technical safety organizations; . Nuclear fuel cycle and waste management; . Nuclear safeguards; . Off-site activities.
