Upgrading the standards, metrology testing and quality assurance sectors in Malta
The European Commission, DG IA, has published a restricted invitation to tender on behalf of the Government of Malta concerning the upgrading of the standards, metrology testing and quality assurance sectors in Malta. The tender relates to technical assistance and a training programme for the Malta Standardization Authority. The following services are included in the tender: - Organization of a study tour for senior managers from the National Standards Laboratory, visiting the main public and private analytical laboratories in three different Member States in the fields of chemical, micro/biological and physical engineering standards; - Following the installation and commissioning of the new National Standards Laboratory, technical assistance will be required to support and assist the management team in organization and start-up activities. Interested firms and individuals should send an expression of interest to the European Commission. On the basis of these, invitations to tender will be sent to short-listed candidates.
