INNOVATION programme videos
The European Commission's INNOVATION programme has produced a series of four videos presenting the concept of innovation, the work of the programme and also how partnerships can build and develop cross-border and cross-cultural collaboration. "Innovating in Europe" and "Europe: Innovating Together" offer brief summaries of the need for innovation as a source of competitiveness for European companies. They explain how the INNOVATION programme aims to create a culture of innovation, in which companies can benefit from trans-border collaboration, acquiring new technologies and developing new skills. "Europe: Innovating Together" outlines the structure of a technology transfer or validation project, and presents three case studies. "Building successful multi-partner projects" looks into the structure of moderated planning workshops and describes the stages in the process of developing a project with a number of partners. "Working Together", tells the story using actors of a typical INNOVATION project. Transnational partners are seen in a moderated planning workshop. The value of openness in building mutual understanding and trust is convincingly portrayed.
