Heat exchange engineering
The conference will present the latest advances to overcome operating, economic and environmental problems in the heat transfer industry. The conference will be inaugurated by a representative from the UK Environment Agency who will outline the implications of the forthcoming EU Directive on Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control. The conference will also cover the following topics:
- Heat transfer and the environment;
- Heat transfer and process design developments;
- Heat transfer and fouling;
- Fouling monitoring techniques for the process industries.
The seminar aims to help exchanger designers and process engineers achieve the best for both new and existing heat exchangers. Four sessions covering the most up-to-date technology will be presented:
- Best practice in design and operation of shell and tube exchangers;
- Best practice in design and operation of air-cooled exchangers;
- Enhancement of exchanger performance and operability;
- Heat exchanger fouling.
