Elan Corporation's Senior Director of Project Planning and Management, Dr. Gary Liversidge will discuss Nanotechnology and Drug Delivery. Dr. Liversidge was one of the key researchers who developed Elans proprietary NanoCrystal technology, which is currently being used by Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research & Development (J&J PRD) in a Phase III clinical trial of a long acting injectable formulation of its paliperidone palmitate in patients with Schizophrenia.

IBM Zurich Research's Manager of Business Development & Relations, Dr. Erich Ruetsche, who will examine in a panel discussion the future of nanotechnology in industry and the trend of nanotechnology in Europe.
NEC Corporation's General Manager of Fundamental Research Labs, Dr. Jun'Ichi Sone, who will analyze the impact of Nanotechnology in the Development of other Technology-based Industries
