A conference launching the Israeli Public Debate on FP7 will be held in memory of Prof. Paul Singer on 4 July in Tel Aviv, Israel., ,The European Keynote speakers will be:
- Mr. Richard Escritt, Director, Research Directorate A - Coordination of Community Activities, Commission of the European Union, Brussels.
- Prof. Elie Cohen, Director of Research at the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS).
- Ms. Katleen Engelbosch, Advisor Deputy Director General, Research Directorate, Commission of the European Union, Brussels.
Speakers from Israel include:
Prof. Jacob Ziv, Chairman of the Israeli Forum for National Infrastructure for R&D (Telem).
Dr. Eli Opper, Chief Scientist, Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor.
Prof. Shlomo Grossman, Chairman of the Planning and Budgeting committee, Council for Higher Education.
Ms. Tali Rosenbaum, Director General, Ministry of Science and Technology.
