The European Multimedia Forum is holding a confernece entitled "The competitiveness of the European digital media industry in a global environment", in Brussels, Belgium, on 30 June and 1 July 1998.
The conference will include a series of presentations and round table discussions from representatives of the European Commission, European Parliament and industry.
The aim is to explore the following issues:
- The competitiveness of the European digital media industry in a global environment;
- Europe compared to the rest of the world;
- Web advertising - how can multimedia enhance competitiveness?
