Wave and quantum aspects of contemporary optics

The eleventh Slovak-Czech-Polish optical conference will be held in Stara Lesna, Slovakia, from 21 to 25 September 1998, jointly organised by the Institute of Measurement Science and the Comenius University, Bratislava. The theme of this year's conference will be "Wave and quantum aspects of contemporary optics".
The purpose of the conference is to provide a forum for the presentation of the latest developments in research in the participating countries and will deal with theoretical, experimental and applied optics. The topics to be covered during the conference will include:
- Theoretical aspects of optics;
- Optics in measurement science and technology;
- Quantum and non-linear optics;
- Fibre optics.
