PATTERNS OF CLUSTER EVOLUTION
models, practices, technologies and policies
Different experiences will be compared in order to compose a multifaceted but comprehensive framework and pave the way to innovative clusters for European Competitiveness.
The conference is expected to
-present different regional/national approaches to clusters development;
-exchange experiences and best practices on the role of regional/national authorities;
-better understand how to support successfully cluster evolution stimulating knowledge and innovation;
-prepare the ground for possible partnerships in future common cluster initiatives.
The European Commission will be represented at the conference by the following Directorates-General:
DG ENTERPRISE AND INDUSTRY
DG REGIONAL POLICY
DG RESEARCH
in order to present the EC comprehensive perspectives on clusters topic and cluster future initiatives.
The different cases and experiences will be deepen during two plenary sessions and four parallel sessions (Networking, Management, Technology and Policies).
