European Telework Awards 1998

The 1998 European Telework Week Awards ceremony will be held in Brussels, Belgium, on 6 November 1998. This event will mark the end of European Telework Week which will involve a range of events to be held all over Europe, between 2 and 9 November 1998. The awards will be given to individuals, companies or institutions who, in the opinion of the evaluators, have made the greatest contribution to the development and uptake of telework in Europe.

There will be a total of seven categories of award:

- Best contribution to European competitiveness;
- Best advertising campaign;
- Most entrepreneurial use of telework;
- Most innovative use of technology;
- Best public initiative;
- Best contribution to European sustainability;
- Best single article or programme.
