Interactive publishing

The fifth interactive publishing conference will be held in Zurich, Switzerland, from 11 to 13 November 1998. The aim of the conference is to provide a focal point for discussions on the latest developments and trends in European interactive publishing.

A range of topics will be presented during the conference, including:

- Europe - a hotline publishing spot?
- Media ventures on a crash course?
- Discovering the on-line customers;
- Update from the legal frontier;
- Electronic commerce for publishing ventures.

A key feature of this year's event will be an award ceremony for the best in European interactive publishing. Nominations from all European countries, including the countries of Central and Eastern Europe have been received for the award, which will be granted for elements such as successful approach, innovation, design, user-friendliness, content and interactivity. The overall aim of the award is to highlight the best interactive publishing ventures from all European countries, in all languages and formats.
