Integrating technology and human decisions

The fifth international conference of the Decision Sciences Institute will be held in Athens, Greece, from 4 to 7 July 1999, organised by the Athens University of Economics and Business and the Florida International University College of Business Administration.

The conference will address the theme "Integrating technology and human decisions: Global bridges into the 21st century" and will comprise a series of contributed paper sessions, invited and plenary presentations, case studies, round tables, panels, tutorials, workshops and forums.

Discussions during the conference will focus on topics such as:

- Expert systems and neural networks;
- Group decisions and negotiations;
- Management information systems;
- Multi-criteria decision analysis;
- Operations management in services;
- Process re-engineering and outsourcing;
- Reliability, maintainability and product assurance.
