IT'S in Europe '99, the first European ITS Congress on the use of advanced telecom and information technologies to link transport users to transport infrastructure, will be held in Amsterdam from 14 to 17 June 1999.
The conference in the Netherlands is intended to display ITS at work with an exhibition and technical visits to Amsterdam Airport Schipol, the Port of Rotterdam, the Eurodelta test site and the Call Centre for Mobility Services.
The event will focus on ITS applications that are already being used in cities, regions, airports, travel and tourism. Cross-functional applications of ITS will also be displayed.
The meeting is being organised by Ertico in co-operation with the Dutch Ministry of Transport, the European Commission, Telematica '99 and ITS Netherlands.
