Entrepreneurship is goal for education

As part of the German Presidency of the European Commission, between January and June 1999, a European congress, "Entrepreneurship - an objective for education in Europe", will be held in Stuttgart, Germany, on 8 and 9 June 1999.

The aim is to show the importance to entrepreneurship of the educational system and to provide an opportunity for the exchange of information and experience. There will be two parallel workshops:

- Entrepreneurship and colleges/research institutes;
- General and vocational training and further education.

The event is aimed at representatives from educational institutes and decision makers from regional and national authorities interested in learning about successful methods of encouraging entrepreneurship.
