Workshop on Effective Negotiations for FP7 and other EU projects
The aims of the workshop are to gain more confidence when negotiating in English, widen your range of negotiation techniques, practise interest based negotiations and learn how to handle difficult situations more effectively. It also gives you substantial support in achieving your goals by practising. The workshop is highly participative and a strong focus will be on personal feedback. The number of participants is limited to 12.
The following topics will be covered:
• What makes a good negotiator?
• Planning and preparation tools
• Understanding the negotiation process
• Understanding your counterpart
• Dealing with difficult situations and people
• Persuasion skills
• Raising intercultural awareness.
The workshop is designed for all individuals involved in negotiations: research managers and administrators, scientists, engineers, technical and administrative staff. It is held in English.

Course fee: 895 EUR.
